Yep - swap to an Apple it is better than Windows. If you want Windows as well you can create a virtual Windows PC on the Apple mac using a software program called Parallels - it's good software.

I am getting sick and tired of these comments, I do consider Win 10 better than Win 7; and the mock funeral Steve Jobs performed as promotion to new Mac OS X is not just some marketing stunt. Well it mostly is but old got phased out, it is time for Win 7 too.

XP was better than 7. Were it not for hackers (on whom I could cheerfully bust a cap on them), XP would still be good. However, with it dropping off of security update support, it becomes increasingly vulnerable. Same will be true for 7 in that it isn't the quality of the O/S, it is the cost of the upkeep.
If you have a good anti-virus package that works on Win7, keep that up to date and you should be OK.

Because Microsoft is a business and needs to make money.
Hardware tech has also changed, so MS has to keep up.
Win7 still runs great on older hardware or as a virtual machine, but it can’t make use of some of the latest hardware and won’t run some of the latest software. Win10 is great now too if you give it a try.

Because it's over 10 years old soon, and it's been superseded by Win 8; Win 8.1; and Win 10. Why would you want to continue to use an OS that is no longer receiving functional improvements or security updates??? Doesn't make much sense in today's computing environment!

If >>> YOU <<< hate Microsoft Windows 10 then >>> YOU <<< don't have to use it.
I use Microsoft Windows 7, and 10. I don't have any complaints!

Do YOU want to spend hundreds of millions of dollars supporting a decade-old product?!

Them dropping support for Win 7 does not in any way affect how well it works!
You can still install and use any older Windows version as well, if you can find appropriate drivers for the machine.
[I was a pre-release tester for Win10 - I did not like it then and I still do not like it now].
