NH3 is a gas ... that is ammonia from the view of Chemistry.
IF you buy cleaning 'ammonia' you really get a water solution of ammonia and some of the NH3, as it dissolves reacts with water forming NH4+ ions and OH- ions .. the combination, in chemistry is called ammonium hydroxide. It is a weak base, meaning a very small amount of the dissolved NH3 actually forms the ions.

Seriously??? You had to come here to type in ammonia? You couldn't do it in Google and then read the Wikipedia article on ammonia?
It's a gaseous, water soluble compound, NH3, which dissolves in water to make a slightly basic solution.
NH3(aq) + HOH <==> NH4^+ + OH- ............... Kb = 1.8x10^-5
