Are Pinstripe suits appropriate for weddings?
My cousins wedding is on Sunday, was planning to wear a classic pinstripe suit, but is that appropriate for weddings? Or should I go with the standard black and white suit for weddings? Haven't been to many weddings so I don't really know whats proper to wear. Thanks.

if you are not part of the ceremony, you can wear whatever you like, as long as your clean and neat. If you are in the ceremony, your dress will be pre-ordained by the planners .

Where on earth did you get the idea that weddings call for a standard black suit? Good grief.. What on earth would make you think a pinstripe suit isn't appropriate?

If you've already got the pinstripe suit, it's fine - maybe think about wearing a coloured rather than white shirt to make it less 'work'

As long as it is a suit and not a tuxedo, you're good. A tux would only be appropriate if it was a black tie or formal wedding where everyone was expected to be in formal attire.

I think it's appropriate, as long as you're not in a tux like the groom.
