How old is the Legend of Zelda?

very very old since i played it when i was a kid and im 42

The Legend of Zelda was released on the Nintendo Famicom Disk System on Feb. 21, 1986. It was later converted into cartridge format & released in the US (on the NES) on Aug. 22, 1987 (18 months after initial release) & in Europe on Nov. 27, 1987 (~21 months after initial release).

At time of post, that would make the series 33y 5m 2d (or 33y 152d) old.
