Do "sun" and "internet" always get capitalized?

Is it "The Sun" or "the Sun" or "the sun?"

Is it "The Internet" or "the Internet" or "the internet?"

Thanks in advance.

    No

    but

when they are being used as proper nouns

(for example, "the Sun", "the Internet")

    they should be capitalized.

if "the Sun" refer to the newspaper, it is capitalised

"internet" is not always capitalised, and never when used as an adjective, nor in compound words such as "internet-savvy" "internet-troll" "internet-celebrity"

The Sun is the name of a place. Names of places always get capitalized.

The internet is not a place.
