Evangelicals, why are there no recordings of a person’s “born again” experience before the reformation?

Or, if there are any described instances of someone being born again, please share.

    I suggest you read Scripture. There is a statement there that this is a necessity.

  • "Rebirth is through the power of God, which is given to every believer who converts to his gospel of Truth!"

    To be born again means to leave sin out there, and to live a life (NEW), in the grace that God has granted him for forgiveness, which he grants to all those who repent, and who lead a new life according to its laws and its prescriptions.

    The old life of sin and ended, is now a whole new life, until it reaches, from this life, to the eternal one, with God.

    Read the book of Acts. There are several instances of people being born again in the book of Acts.

    All involved being baptized.

    There are many examples in the Bible which is a History book amongst other things. You believe your school history books don't you? Well the Bible is a history book and gives examples of good and bad things people have done, mistakes folks have made as well as good decisions.

    Cornelius and his family and friends, neighbours and relatives are a good example, (Acts 10: 44 - 48), so is the Ethiopian Eunuch who Phillip brought to the Lord and then got him baptized (Acts 8: 34 - 40)

    When Peter stood up and preached to the crowds on the Day of Pentecost, 5000 people came to Christ and believed (Acts 4:4)

    Read the book of Acts and you will find Lydia who got baptized and asked Paul to stay, the Philippian Jailer and his family who repented for beating Paul, washed his wounds and believed on Jesus Christ and was baptized at midnight by Paul and Barnabas after they spoke the Word of the Lord to them all (Acts 16:25)There are loads you will have to look for them for yourself - they are all there listed and recorded.

    2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

    Colossians 3

    9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

    10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

    All you have to do to verify the born again experience is to read Jesus and his dialogue with Nicodemus. "You MUST be born again". That's Jesus speaking.
