JW's: If Jesus arose in a spiritual body why was the stone rolled back from His tomb?

He arose in the same body He had when He died. When Thomas doubted that fact, Jesus told him to place his finger into the wounds in His hands, and to place his hand into the wound in His side, in order that Thomas might know it was truly, physically, Him.

No specific biblical verse saying why. Most likely so that the apostles and others would believe he'd been raised up from the dead.

But, that Jesus is a spirit is a clear bible doctrine.

1 Corinthians 15: 44-45 It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam [Jesus] became a life-giving spirit.

It's why folks who go to heaven don't expect to take their bodies with them. Read Romans 6:5 & Romans 8:23

He rose in a physical body and ascended to heaven in front of Mary and His mother. Then returned in a spiritual body and appeared to hundreds of witnesses.

Catholicism is the One True Faith and a person can know this with certainty by reciting the rosary each day with care.

Jesus arose in his Physical body...nail holes and spear gash all in tack, as the experience with Thomas and Him bears out

There was no body inside.

He musta magicked the stone away.

Magic is what happens when there's no other explanation.

To show that he was gone. How would anyone have known otherwise?

A true spirit would NOT need to have the entrance cleared for it to escape the grave.
