Which villains would've been better for the Justice League movie?

Ultraman, Owlman, and the rest of the Crime Society of America from Earth-Three could have been entertaining.

I think Vandal Savage (a Hitler type character) would have been interesting, perhaps the use of him and Ras Al Ghul (an evil muslim messiah complex).... it's like mixing Nazis and Muslims together. It would be interesting to see the battle against these two forces.

Joker, Lex Luthor and the Injustice Gang

I think they should have ignored Darkseid altogether.

The reason they didn't just throw him in was he's just too similar to Thanks, and people would have moaned about copying.

I think the better option would have been Brainiac. He's a far more original concept, and something which can be visually very interesting, showing heroes trapped within cities as he tried to capture them, etc.

It also would have been a single, decent, world-threatening enemy that could bring everyone together, rather than just Bruce Wayne having a bad feeling one day, so deciding to assemble a team.

It also could have made a lot of sense for Brainiac to search for the body of Superman, wanting a Kryptonian for some reason.
