Give it a shot. See if it takes hold. It would require an amendment to the Constitution with 3/4ths of the States supporting it. Good luck.

Other things are happening in the US. This is causing violence, and other things like opiate use, homelessness, divorce, unemployment. Division between rich and poor.

The recent gun violence, is just another symtom.. Gun have been around for a long time by not all these mass shootings.
