he wont talk because he is worried like hell
let him take the PSA blood test
if the result is normal then there is
no need for a prostate exam

He is in control of his life right now and he's keeping it. At this point, he's told you all he knows: he's getting a biopsy done because his doctor is somewhat concerned. Lots of men (me) don't want to pre-worry for weeks when he'll have a good answer soon. At THAT POINT, he'll know what to do next. After the biopsy, he'll tell you what he knows AT THAT POINT. Do NOT try to "fix" him or get him to "open up."

There are two issues. One is his medical test results and the other is not talking to you. They are separate things.
PSA is a very inaccurate indicator of prostate cancer. If levels are high, then further tests or a biopsy are needed to determine if prostate cancer is present.
Not talking to you about his could be for any number of reasons. Maybe hes scared; maybe he's worried about scaring you; maybe he feels like his manhood is at stake; maybe he is just being an ass due to problems in your marriage - the list could go on and on,.

Prostate cancer is a fairly common occurrence and that is what they are testing for. For your peace of mind, it is fairly easy to cure usually.
