Jesus has power of Himself rather than giving Christians power of themselves; what would result if He gave Christians their own power?

Friend the Bible says that we were created in the image of God. The Bible further says know ye not that ye are God's! How do you know that we have no power of ourselves? For all you know we have the power to create a world by speaking it into existence. That is of course if our brains were functioning like they were supposed to be! When Jesus Christ comes back and helps us to repair our mind and our bodies the function the way that they're supposed to function we may find out that we are capable of speaking entire planets into existence just like God.

He did. Countless miracles have occurred as a result.

We have power. The Bible says, All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under subjection of any of them. 1 Corinthians 6:12

God gives us free will, but He desires that our will aligns with His PERFECT will :)

If a god existed and gave his followers power, they wouldn't be so controlled by the unbelief of atheists.

Romans 12:2 tells Christians to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

They FAIL to be transformed because their minds remain the same as they always were.....controlled by every wind that blows around them.

This is one of the many reasons I know their gods don't exist. If their gods DID exist, they could control themselves when presented with our arguments, and they would be able to answer with gentleness and respect (I Peter 3:15-16).

    They FAIL. Miserably.

Look for "power" in Romans 1:16. This is God's power to save, the real, the genuine, the authentic "power" that really matters to Christians, which the unsaved know nothing about. Compare Ephesians 1:13, 1 Cor. 1:18.
