Would the USA be better if split into several nations?

Let face it; Democrats and Republicans can no longer coexist peacefully. Both sides hate each other, both sides want to oppress the other. Would it not be better to partition the USA like India and Pakistan were partitioned? Except into several nations? California could be its own liberal nation Oregon and Washington another liberal nation; the Midwest is a grab by, probably 2 liberal nations and 2 conservative nations, the south, except Virginia which has turned liberal could be a conservative nation, Texas it’s own conservative nation- essentially returning to its original status as in independent nation, and the readically liberal north east as its own liberal nation.

Just as with the partition of Pakistan and India , the political minoriotes in each nation would be forcefully expelled to the nation that predominantly represents their ideology.

Is this not better than trying to force dictatorial unification on a nation where one ideology (left or right) must be supreme? Live and let live? Liberals have their socialist utopia were whites are punished for their ancestors actions, and republicans have their nation where everything is privatized, debtors prison exists and labor rights are racist legal ?

Isn’t it better for people to live in-nations where there is no dissent

You can’t tell me as a Democrat you wouldn’t be happy not have no to deal with any republican, and you can’t tell me as a Republican you wouldn’t mind living without Democrats

Changing the voting system so governing requires a majority(-coalition) and "third" parties have a chance would be easier though

The red states could not survive on their own.

No. That would be like a divorce from brotherhood, and contrary to what God has willed for our land.

I do not believe in the idea of splitting this country. Although many people think of California as an easy going liberal state it isn't really. There are racial and criminal problems as well as the same gang issues that exist in the rest of the country. Separating the country means separating families exactly like the Civil War did. It is no better than the separatists concept that existed in 1865 -1868 with the idea of creating a "separate" state for black. people. Personally I do not want to have to move into a new area (country) because of the destruction of America
