I’m a conservative and I have a great idea for-gun control. Go to the most violent drug infested blocks in the city, and one at a time, release people through a metal detector. Then search the whole block for guns. You would probably find hundreds of guns and a lot of drugs.

When the mother of a mentally disturbed young man calls the police about his possession of an AK-47 it was a missed opportunity to prevent a mass murder.

The relatives of dangerously mentally ill young men are powerless to force them to get the help they need.

Without changes to involuntary commitment the mass murders will continue.
