I constantly hear people saying that the 50s anf 60s were a simpler time and there was less violence and problems.  I believe its true because even like 20 years ago when I was growing up, if there was a mass shooting it was all everybody talked about because it was out of the ordinary.  Now we have shootings like, every month and super violent protests every year.  

So what was different before?  I think it might be that life was slightly easier then and the cost of living was lower, but I'm not sure

I don't mean that I don't see a lot of people with covid, I'm saying I haven't seen a SINGLE person, and all the people I know are saying the same thing. And naturally, people like me are getting pissed off that people are losing their jobs and stores are going permanently out of business, and it seems to be for nothing.

Also, you may have noticed how people give you dirty looks outside if you don't wear a mask. I constantly walk down the street and I see someone walking like 100 feet away and if they see me they cross the street. Its irritating. Is this going to go on for half of the century?

I always thought alcohol was less essential. Why is everything so messed up

by forcing people to go to crowded polling locations during an epidemic? They literally said they hoped it would suppress voter turnout among young working liberal people and poor black people

I'm talking about the quarantines and the loss of work and business for all these people. We can't shut the country down forever

Looks like it could happen pretty easily. People are being shot at random every couple of months

I registered for an online class at a local community college. The quality of education there is extremely poor (and I was appalled). The class has no lectures and no discussions, I kind of believed that students who pay lots of money to take a class are entitled to have this. Anyway, I can t figure out a way to drop this class. Even if I have already wasted my money, I can t keep wasting my time and I want to opt out. any suggestions?

Lately, every time I click on a youtube video I have to see an ad of Trump bashing democrats and talking about how everyone should get together and vote Republican. You must be really worried and these corny ads must be costing you a lot of money. Are you going to blow out your savings in 2020?

McSally might still win, but it seems Arizona is turning blue like a nice fresh bruise. All I see right now is conservative heads exploding. Look who can't accept the results of the election

I've heard conflicting stuff about this. But I'm just not buying that his approval rating is high. Like, I almost never run into people who like trump. Am I mistaken?
