How much school does it take to learn to do (lab) bloodwork? Like platelet counts, for example?

    Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) positions generally require a two year associate degree, usually from a community or junior college.  Medical Technology (MT) is a 4 year Bachelor of Science Degree.
