If you extrapolate Bergson's ideas, then if you really, really believe you can fly, and being able to fly is so much better than not-flying - - then petty science and gravity will take a back seat, and you will be able to fly!
Why don't you go give it a try.
Meanwhile, I will stick with the mundane forces of physics.
