I'm white, can I cosplay Miles Morales?

I want to cosplay Miles Morales, because he's my favorite version of Spiderman, but I'm white so I was unsure if that could be considered problematic or not? I just don't wanna accidentally make anybody upset

    as long as you don't put on black face i think it's OK.

    As long as you keep your mask and gloves on, you can pass for Miles Morales. However, if someone calls you out on being a different race from the character, just say that you're the Miles from an alternate universe/reality.
