Am I an alto or mezzo soprano?

So my range is from Eb3 to A5. My tessitura (comfortable notes) is F#3 to about Eb5 (sometimes F#5). My higher notes from about D5 an above are always extremely weak and I can't use them much in song, but it doesn't hurt at all to use them. I can do mixed belting easily, but my head voice sucks. So what am I?

You're someone who needs to go to a voice teacher.

I taught Voice and choral music in the schools of NY for almost 30 years. This does not sound like you have had fine private instruction - if you had, your head voice - which is the true singing voice - would be better. Fach is determined by vocal timbre and color, not range. So until you grow more and get decent education, you can skip the labels. Just get a really good qualified voice teacher - degrees, experience.
