Besides cranberries what fruit tastes better when it is not yet ripe, then when it is there?

    I like pears slightly under-ripe before they are too soft.

    BTW Cucumbers are technically a fruit and are always eaten green and underripe. When ripe they are yellow, tough and not good to eat.

    i like bananas better when they're a bit green. not totally green, then they're just bitter
