Quick fix for broken bed leg?

One leg literally snapped almost off and I just need a quick fix for the time being. Hardcover books stacked up?

Ikea has got you covered $5 per leg fix, that way your bed still looks like the poon-palace de jour instead of some outback wanna hump-hump pile of rubbish. You know he is never going to trade out that concrete brick just to knock boots with you. Just go and tell him about the free coffee once you sign up for membership and the $1 breakfast and spend the $20 on new bed legs. Instead of introducing bed bugs via uncleaned concrete brick from a neighbor, do the right thing!

Yep, hardcover books stacked up should work just fine. Or maybe some bricks or a pot turned upside down.
