When is the citadel admission deadline and what do I need to submit?

Pretty simple question, but I haven t found anything anywhere that has told me that.

"Rolling" admissions means that there is no "deadline" per se; the college accepts eligible applicants from the day the admissions open (in this case, the summer after your junior year) until the class is filled.

Depending on the competitiveness of the college, the class may fill up immediately (if more qualified applicants than the institution can accept apply the summer after their junior year). Or if not many qualified applicants apply, then admissions will remain open indefinitely (possibly even until shortly before classes begin, although probably not at a college like the Citadel, which requires medical and physical fitness exams in addition to academic qualifications).

It never hurts to apply as early as possible to a rolling admission college, unless your GPA or SAT does't meet a minimum requirement (if that's the case, then wait to apply until you've brought it up).

    Requirements are here: http://www.citadel.edu/root/admissions-requirement...

As you probably saw, below is what their website says. Since it's rolling, I'd apply this fall, as if you were applying to any other college.

"The Citadel usually begins accepting applications in the summer following the student’s junior year of high school. Operating on a rolling admission basis, the Admissions Committee evaluates admissions portfolios as they become complete. Decisions (acceptances and denials) are then communicated accordingly. Generally, admissions decisions are made within four-to-six weeks of an applicant’s portfolio becoming complete, and they are communicated in writing via U.S. mail.

The Citadel’s incoming class frequently fills up each year. As the incoming class approaches its capacity, space availability issues can impact the timing of admission decisions and notifications. As a result, students are encouraged to begin the application process in a timely fashion."

Funny, I googled this and got an answer, and a whole web page that explained their process. The deadline is rolling.
