What are some good jobs working with animals?
I'm not talking about vet here. I don't wanna see animals hurt or sick everyday and I cant do surgeries and such because of my weak stomach but I do love animals of all kind and I'd love to follow the path of a well paid career working with animals

Professional dog walker/boarder. My dog's walker/boarder charges $25 per two-hour walk and $75 per overnight boarding. Every work-day she walks five to six dogs in the AM and the same number in the PM.
If you do the math, she's earning $300/day walking dogs. And over 52 weeks, she's grossing $78,000. That good enough for you?
And that's just walking them. Boarding would add even more. Just taking care of well dogs and giving them walks and TLC.
In California, a profession dog walker is certified. And there are professional dog walker associations that you can work with to get set up. Key to making big bucks in dog walking is of course having a full pack of dogs to walk. Which means you have to be good so that by work of mouth your clients will recommend you to more clients.

Unless you have specific skills, there aren't a lot of good paying jobs...
Working with animals is, in general, a labor of love. Learn to train thoroughbreds and that's another story. Horse trainers do ok if they're any good. Where is the money in animals...its not in rescuing small animals, its about competition.

there are very few "well-paid" jobs working with animals. People who are dog walkers or work at Doggie Daycare facilities or are dog trainers don't make very much. Even zoo employees don't earn particularly high wages. Farming and ranching isn't particularly lucrative either -- particularly if you are just a hired hand.

There are very few well-paid non-veterinary animal jobs.
Oldprof is on the right road. Self-employment may be an option for you.
Yes there ARE some people who have fabulously interesting careers working with animals, but they are usually people with a very specific and uncommon skill.

You could get an associate degree in veterinary technology to become an animal nurse (licensed veterinary technician). If you don't want to go to college, you could become an animal caretaker at a zoo, shelter, or research facility.
