Because he is so stupid and ridiculous that it makes for funny, but also disturbing, stories. The media loves disturbing stories, because it intrigues readers.

This is the liberal mindset and tactic. Keep their puppets occupied with trivial things and they won’t pay attention to the important ones. Even the leaders can’t come up with viable solutions. All they can say is “free this” and “free that”.
