I feel sorry for those who have lost their jobs, but not the holidaymakers they deserve all what they get when it was obvious months ago that Thomas Cook was going down the pan. The government should not be paying for them to be brought home with tax payers money.

The company has been teetering on the edge of collapse for a few years now , its demise was inevitable considering the changes to the holiday industry,, its not the first company and it wont be the last.

I feel sorry for all of them. How people choose to spend their hard earned money is up to them and I do not begrudge them a holiday. Many of the destination countries depend almost entirely on tourist income and their hoteliers are going to lose out on unpaid bills.

Just the people who lost their jobs.
The people who booked holidays will get their money back.
Those who booked flights only will get their money back if they paid by credit card - If they didn't they're stupid and deserve to lose their money.
