would you say this season is gonna be another losing season for the Raiders as usual? they've had only 1 winning season for almost 2 decades?
the Raiders have had only 1 winning season since that Super Bowl massacre against the Buccaneers in the 2002 season, which they did in 2016, but then it was back to their losing ways.
Raider fans have definetley gotten used to losing for too long already, you would think with the death of Al Davis, things would change, but nope, they haven't.
it kind of makes you wonder why that Super Bowl massacre against the Buccs in the 2002 season, destroyed the Raiders for the long-term, hard to believe a more bigger dramatic drop, collapse than that.

Rgar was guaranteed when they hired the self promoting bozo who's team won a Super Bowl when Al Davis was the real coach, won a Super Bowl with Tony Dungy's team and detailed kbowledge of the Raiders offense, then proceeded to to run the Bucs into the ground over the next six years.

Yes, the Raiders will have another double-digit loss season in 2019.
As for the sudden collapse for the post-Super Bowl XXXVII Raiders, I believe that the wheels were in motion prior to that. I truly believe that the Tuck Rule was the moment that changed the fortunes for the Raiders franchise. If not for that, the Raiders may have gone on to win Super Bowl XXXVI, and thus, would have not traded Gruden. With Gruden, the Raiders probably also win Super Bowl XXXVII. With an aging roster, the Raiders still struggle during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. However, with Gruden still around, the Raiders almost certainly would have taken Aaron Rodgers with the 23rd pick of the 2005 NFL Draft (instead of Fabian Washington), to replace Rich Gannon, who retired after the 2004 season.
