Something that never existed did nothing!!!!!!!

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!

You assume that the biblical tale actually happened when it is only presented in the bible.

It's only when you realize WHO it was, dying for sinners, that you realize this Jesus was not just "another human being" sacrificing his mortal life to help other mortals. Sure, lots of decent humans have sacrificed much - their all, even - for love of other humans. But stop and ask yourself this - did their sacrificial death deal with all the sin of the entire world? No mere human's sacrifice could do that!

In the Bible, at 2 Corinthians 5:21, God ‘made him who had no sin to be sin' - that's His Son, Jesus. This verse always makes me wonder just what Jesus endured on the cross, with regard to being made sin. Yet He had never sinned! What was that like for Him? It could not just have been some theoretical, theological transaction. Something happened on the cross to Jesus to 'make Him sin', in our place.

All I can venture is the idea that the spotless Lamb of God, without blemish, was turned into the vileness of all the sin of the world, when on the cross. “Accursed is everyone hung on a tree” the old testament law stated (as well as saying the one so executed had to be taken down before evening. Galatians 3:13 & Deuteronomy 21:23) Jesus must have known what it felt like to become an accursed thing.

And Jesus must have known what it was to feel what it was like to be sinful and accursed because of sin, otherwise He could not be our mediator who knows exactly what we sinners go through. The Bible book of Hebrews shows that He is the perfect mediator because He does know what we suffer as sinners, though He never succumbed to temptation as we do – though He never actually sinned. But He had to know what it was like to be condemned as a sinner.

I therefore imagine the lovely, pure and gentle Jesus, led like a lamb to the slaughter, hanging on that cross and the sin of the world being dumped on Him, like a ton of sewage, covering Him from head to foot. The horror of that is unimaginable, especially as Jesus could have chosen to come down off the cross, to avoid that; to call upon legions of angels. But He had to suffocate (spiritually) under the stench of the world’s sin and to know God forsaking Him at that point, because God is too pure to look upon sin. That’s what accounted for the cry of dereliction from the cross. The idea silences me in horror. Heaven must have been aghast. My sin was part of that shed-load of sin poured on my saviour – my sinless, lovely Lord. It is appalling. It’s meant to get us down on our knees: Please read Philippians 2:6-11.

All human beings are born (spiritually) dead, in (Adam's) trespasses and sins and only Christ can make us alive (Ephesians 2: 1 & 5). - That's the explanation for WHY Jesus had to BECOME a sacrifice for us, because we are born sinners you see and all sin has to be atoned for.

All human beings are always born corrupt/sinful/flawed and that's why we CANNOT be our own sacrifice for sins, because a sacrifice always has to be PERFECT, WITHOUT SIN, WITHOUT CORRUPTION of any kind. Only God is perfect enough to be our sacrifice for sin.

Now since we would have had to be severely punished for those sins we were born into, through Adam (which wasn't our fault but Adam's sin is inherent in us from birth through his genes which we are born with) - God took pity on us and decided to come to earth (HIMSELF) and take our punishment for us.

So what was our punishment going to be?

It could only be spiritual death to us - which would keep us forever cut off from a Holy God who cannot look upon sin, because in order to atone for sin, blood has to be shed. To save the Jews from being punish by death for their own sins in the Old Testament, God gave instructions for them to kill a flawless and spotless lamb, but that blood sacrifice could (only) COVER their sins, the sacrifice could never actually TAKE AWAY their sins - you'll see that in Hebrews 10:11.

So God let the Jewish priests make continual sacrifices every year, not only for the people but for themselves of course - because EVERY human being is born a sinner - without exception and because animal sacrifices could not take away their sins, they had to keep on repeating the same sacrifices (Hebrews 10:11).

Therefore GOD HIMSELF - the WORD who CREATED this world & universe with merely a word such as "Light be" and it was etc (Genesis 1:3) HE HIMSELF (who is an invisible Spirit John 4:24) came to earth in the VISIBLE flesh form of Jesus Christ (so that people could relate to God Himself) and He became the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29) in order that He could die in our stead and not only COVER our sins, but actually TAKE AWAY our sins FOREVER, then He sat down at the right hand of God (Hebrews 10:11)

Now all things are of God who has reconciled us TO HIMSELF THROUGH JESUS CHRIST...… for He made Him (Jesus Christ) - who knew no sin, to be sin for us so that WE might become the righteousness of God IN HIM (2 Corinthians 5: 19 - 21)

Incidentally, those human beings who REFUSE Christ as their Saviour, are thereby refusing HIS GREAT SACRIFICE ONCE FOR ALL, that Christ freely offered, all of us, for our sins, so that we could go free - being forgiven, and inherit eternal life in heaven when we die physically.

Therefore logically, if anyone receives Christ in this life, then they can HAVE the gift of eternal LIFE and LIVE ETERNALLY, but if anyone REFUSES Christ in this life, they CANNOT then receive the gift of eternal life in Heaven so as a consequence, THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY THE PUNISHMENT FOR THEIR OWN SINS IN ETERNITY, by being banished into the Lake of Fire & Torment for eternity.

How sad that is, if we refuse Him, when Christ has done it all for us.

However, we are all FREE TO CHOOSE. Therefore, choose wisely. Do not be proud and say you will pay for your own sins, because you will be tormented forever and the smoke of your torment will ascend forever up to heaven into the nostrils of the one who died on the Cross to save you from that fate.

Humans have SIN, or are flawed. These bad ways destroy.

They keep those with sin SEPARATED from YHWH (God).

To forgive all the sins of all the people for all time, is BIG.

Can you, or I wash away even one sin of one person?

To wipe it out required blood shed(God's law), and so Jesus came and took our place. What we would go through, Jesus went through.

Because of sin, satan now owned us.

    Jesus bought us back.

EDIT..Every great person was flawed. Their good had bad also.

Jesus came to make us free.

Surrounded fails...fails to know that sin destroys.

And simple math says someone pays in kind.

No man could do what Jesus did. So many don't see how important it was to those who believed.

Rather bizarre story when you think about it.

God sends his son on a suicide mission to die for our sins so god (who is also Jesus) can forgive us for our sins. Why he couldn’t just skip the bit where his kid gets killed and forgive us anyway is conveniently overlooked.

The whole thing is totally, horribly, absurdly sadistic, counter-intuitive and wicked. Not to mention baldly untrue.

Jesus, the Son of God, is fully God (John 1:1, Hebrews 1:8, Titus 2:13, Colossians 2:9, John 8:58). Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life. He never sinned. Jesus taught many about the kingdom of God and said that He Himself is the Way to God and eternal life. Jesus performed many miracles, and healed many people. Jesus died upon the cross as the sacrifice for our sins. When Jesus was on the cross, God placed upon Him the sins of the whole world, and Jesus took the punishment that we deserve on the cross, so that we can be saved, forgiven, and have a relationship with God, and go to Heaven. Then Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, proving that He is God. Jesus appeared to many people over a 40 day period after His resurrection. Then He ascended up into Heaven. But Jesus will return someday to judge the world and to establish His eternal kingdom. Only those who repent and place their trust in Jesus will be saved and go to Heaven. If a person sincerely turns from their sins and asks Jesus to be their Savior and Lord of their life, He will come into their heart, save them, forgive them, and give them eternal life. We are saved by what Jesus has done for us, not by anything that we can ever do. Jesus is the God and Creator of the universe (read John chapter 1). www.peacewithgod.net

He died to pay the penalty of death for OUR sins.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He is the only sacrifice that his Father would ever accept in that regard, because he was the only perfect man to ever live. He sacrificed his life then - his all.

Jhn 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

SOMEONE has to die for YOUR sins. If not Jesus, then it will be you, and then there's literally hell to pay.

    >>>There are many great man's in history who are great in human history, who have sacrificed their lives for the human race<<,

But only ONE MAN'S DEATH can save our souls - the man Christ Jesus.

1Ti 2:5 For there is only one God, and but one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus

Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved

Jhn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
