I do not usually post on my social media so don't think anything if u see that and think oh he isn't active. Depresion is a disease and u must fight back. I've been thru this, know many friends who are working thru it with my help. u must see thru this illusion . If I didn't care I wouldnt bother replying . Therfore I do care . Therfore i want u to reply. For me accepting that god loves me and wants the best for me and pushing away/blocking negative thoughts and feelings helps alot. Create a rubber band like forcefield within the center of ur mind and use it to push slowly but forcefully all the negativity out of ur mind. Pull urself within this rubber band force field and use it to create some space inside that u can have hope and faith that god will make right all wrongs if u can. Another trick is to put things in perspective. To see the world and ur life as a short temporary schooling for ur soul where u whould try to learn what u cna when u are here cause afterwards is an eternity of perfect bliss and good things. if u cna do it right it often will make u feel ur negativity melt away. All pain and suffering will be reimbursed he told me and it will not be a 1 to 1 ratio but 100 to 1. some pain types differ like oppression which is even more so. So do not allow the sadness to win.

Please consider using healthy/positive coping skills (journaling, listening to music, etc.) and focusing on your self care (exercising, eating nutritiously, getting adequate sleep, etc.) to help you manage your depression.
It's so important that you reach out for support from a trusted adult such as a parent, school counselor, teacher, coach, or minister. We would suggest getting evaluated by a medical doctor or mental health professional, and getting involved in counseling. It may help you to talk to a counselor at a hotline. Know that there is help out there for you and you are not alone.

Do you mean cope with depression or recover from depression? They're not quite the same thing.
If you're just talking about coping, I would say go through your daily activities as close to possible, maybe a bit slower than usual. It will give you a sense of confidence.
Also, it's good to know about how to cope in a moment of crisis, when you might harm yourself Simple distractions like your favorite music or movie can help, also slow breathing. A doctor recommends breathing gently through the nose, 4 sec inhale and 6 sec exhale till you feel OK.
If you're talking about recovery, there's a variety of things that can help and a big advantage to having a professional who knows how to use them,
Treatment usually begins by seeing the GP, who can give you a physical and a referral. I mention referral because just a bottle of pills is not a very good approach.
The things you'd want to tell the doctor are how you feel at different times of day, any symptoms you might have such as change in appetite or sleep, and things in your life affecting how you feel.
If you're depressed, I can't tell you exactly what you need. There's no one size fits all solution. I can tell you though that there are healthy lifestyle choices that can enhance the effects of the standard treatments with office visits. Details here, under DEPRESSION TREATMENTS -

A little depression is a normal thing. Things in our lives causes us sadness. If it lasts more than a few days, see a doctor.

Realize when you are in a no win situation do something to make one of the losing sides better then the other, it will make you feel better.
