Why don't Jews believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah? And when do they believe that the Messiah will come?
This question is for Jewish believers. What are your reasons for not believing that Jesus Christ is the Messiah? When you believe that the Messiah will come?

Because Jesus did not fulfill the Messianic Prophecies.
Specifically, the Bible says he will:
-Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).
-Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).
-Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)
-Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: "God will be King over all the world – on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One" (Zechariah 14:9).
If an individual fails to fulfill even one of these conditions, then he cannot be the Messiah.
Because no one has ever fulfilled the Bible's description of this future King, Jews still await the coming of the Messiah. All past Messianic claimants, including Jesus of Nazareth, Bar Cochba and Shabbtai Tzvi have been rejected.
Christians counter that Jesus will fulfill these in the Second Coming. Jewish sources show that the Messiah will fulfill the prophecies outright; in the Bible no concept of a second coming exists.

Because Jesus didn't fulfill any of the requirements for being the Messiah.
There is no specific time in Judaism that it is said that the Messiah will come on that date or must come on that date.
The fundamental tenet is that he will come at one point.

Because Jesus is never mentioned in The Hebrew Bible. (the old testament) Plus Jesus did not fulfill even one of the Messianic Prophecies. The Hebrew Bible tells us the Messiah will be born of two human parents. They will name him Immanuel. The Messiah does not perform miracles or die to return later. He rebuilds the Jewish Temple. He causes all of mankind to worship the one true God Almighty-El Shaddai or Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh. God told Moses this is His name forever, throughout eternity. Immanuel brings peace to all the world. When will the Messiah arrive? When Immanuel shows himself.

Because the prophesy for a Messiah is Judaic and Jesus does not fulfill it!!!!!!! Christians stole the idea but had to invent the non existent census to get Jesus born in Bethlehem!!

In order to ultimately confound and defeat Satan, God found it necessary to withhold significant portions of divine revelation from the Jews (and from the whole world) until the Messiah had already come. Primarily due to that lack of information, the majority of the Jews rejected both Jesus and his "Good News" of salvation, along with his New and better Covenant, which was based on God's grace and mercy, instead of the deadly curse of the Old (Covenant) Law. But all is not lost, because Jesus has promised to one day, come again. So, the Jews will get a second chance to accept Jesus, as their Messiah. Like it says in the Bible: The last (Gentiles converted to Christ) will be first and the first (the Jews/Hebrews - the original Chosen People) will be last.

-Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).
Birth of Jesus - First Temple raised up (Galatians 4:4).
Second Temple raised up when Jesus raised from the dead.
"Destroy this Temple and I will raised it in three days" (John 2:19-21).
Third Temple raised when Jesus returned in the glory of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:2; 2:2-3) as promised (John 2:19-21;14:18).
Ezekiel 37:26-28

-Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).
"For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and I will bring you back into your own land" (Ezekiel 36:24)
"Verily, I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in His Kingdom" (Matthew 16:28).
Jesus returned in the glory of the Holy Spirit and when He speaks of "land" it is Spiritual land and NOT what Jews are looking i.e. taking one back to the geographical location of Israel.
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God" (Romans 2:28-29).
"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more" (II Corinthians 5:16).

The problem is Jews are looking for a physical Messiah but Jesus came back in the glory of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:2; 2:2-3) as promised in John 14:18 and NOT for a phyiscal land. Therefore The Kingdom and The Land is
ALL SPIRITUAL!
II Corinthians 5:16 says
"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh [land either]: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more."

Read the book of Acts. The Christians all first met in Synagogs in the Evenings in Israel!
The Christian religion that is obeying the Bible the closest is the religion "Messianic Judaism"! It is Obeying Matthew 5:17-20, as No other Christian religion is!

Because he did not fulfill their prophecy for a messiah in one or more ways.
