Why are older people becoming more liberal?

The liberal activists of the 1960s and 1970s have become, and are becoming, seniors. They're changing the senior voting demographic. Also, older people really like their Social Security and Medicare benefits and some are realizing how detrimental the Republican efforts to eliminate those programs would be.

A lot of us graduated high school in the early 60's, and were very liberal and anti war protestors, then. Have not changed our political outlook that much since.

The exact opposite is true. The older you get. The more conservative you get.
