Why don't Democrats have open impeachment interviews?

With closed hearings, they can control the narrative. Are they worried that there is noting to warrant an actual impeachment?

Because this whole "impeachment" thing is another scam... no evidence, no crime... just a political ploy.

Just like a grand jury, so the witnesses can't tailor their own testimony based on what others have said. If you've heard about what was said today, you may have heard that Sonderland may be on his way back up to the Hill to amend his previous testimony.

An impeachment inquiry is a fancy term for an investigation.  Ask any detective or attorney why they don't discuss open investigations -- because if the person being investigated knows what precisely the investigators are looking at, they'll be able to tailor their own specific lies, phony evidence, coerced testimonies to counter it.

Why do you think Trump is refusing to cooperate, and ordering all his flunkies to do the same?  Because he doesn't know what's going on in those testimonies.  An innocent man would say "Go ahead, investigate me, the truth will set me free."  But a guilty man, fearing repercussion for his acts, will refuse to cooperate, will make up lies, will point the finger, will shift the blame, will scream conspiracy and unfair treatment.

    Sound familiar?

They pretty much are. Trump’s days are numbered.

It's only for the 2020 election. Political theatre.

Why are most investigations on deciding to bring charges done in private and confidential? Same reason. The inquiry is an equivalent of a grand jury in a criminal case. It is secret for most of the same reasons.

Why do you hate our system of laws and government?

The House committee, which includes Republicans, has held closed door hearings lately because of the national security nature of the testimonies. These will become public in due order.

Republican paranoia and guilt are rampant.

When the Republicans who have expressed support for impeachment see that it's all made up, they'll turn back against the Democrats. The Democrats can't afford to let the cat out of the bag until next year.

The point of all this is NOT to remove Trump from office. It's to drum up public suspicion and resentment, thereby hobbling his reelection efforts. It's all about winning the next election.

Don't worry, Bobo, open interviews will happen in the Senate trial. You'll get to watch Ambassador Sondland throw Trump under the bus live in 1080i.

BUT, when you're still gathering evidence on criminals, you don't broadcast the details of your investigation. DUUHHHH!!!!!
