Should LaVeyan Satanists change their name/label since hey are really just atheists?

I always did find it odd that they complain endlessly that people think they worship satan when they call themselves satanists even though they claim to be atheists! So they spend all their time trying to explain that they are just atheists who like to wear black hooded robes and do rituals all the time so they use the term Satanist instead of atheist. That actually goes against one of their so-called rules that says not to complain about things you need not subject yourself too yet that is exactly what they do!

One of their members Corvis said hey we are just plain boring atheists but its more fun to call ourselves Satanists. But how is it fun when because of that term they have been accused of so many horrible things and negative publicity. Their so-called High Priest is trying to change the label now to "Itheist" instead of satanists. I think part of that too is because these days when people think Satanists they think of The Satanic Temple instead of Laveyan satanists. The Satanic Temple are skeptical atheists who embrace science

In laveyan we are talking about people who wont do normal things like crying or masturbating or being angry unless it is within the confines of a ritual.

They believe in Satan, so they are not atheists. Atheists don't believe any deities exist.

They have done quite well, once again, feeding off the proverbial teat of Christians. 'Satan' is an extremely well known figure of evil from the Christian faith. I have yet to find anyone who succeeds in anything at all without either directly using Christian wisdom and knowledge or attempting to rob aspects of it for their own twisted purposes.

"Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." (Matthew 7:6).

Science itself still uses Biblical Greek Koine, (the language of the Holy Bible), for its base terminology.

It's a metaphor. It's not just "atheist", they follow a worldly life which contrasts with the spiritual, so they use Satan ("the god of this world") as a symbol.

They believe in Satan, or say they do. Atheists don't believe in anything. Your post is beyond ridiculous.
