How do I show the ghost(s) haunting my house that I respect them?

There's a ghost haunting my place, and that's chill with me. I just want to make sure that they're comfortable with what I've got going on. Should I try to leave open means of communication? Try to talk to them? Give some sort of offering? I keep on thinking about how my grandmother would leave out a bowl of milk for the faeries. Is there a ghost equivalent?

I do NOT care about exorcising the ghost. We're buds.

Don't forget that ghosts were once living people and just like them will differ greatly in their likes and dislikes. First get a ouija board to communicate and find out what their preferences are ( don't be surprised if they happen to like the same stuff as you). Mine demand a constant supply of Guinness, peanuts and the latest issue of Beano.

Just address and talk to them--they should be able to hear you.----And they were intelligent humans, so they should understand what you are saying.

Just talk to them with respect. In my house downstairs is their domain after 3am.

They usually like some area that is "theirs".

Move out, they don't want you there.

Yeah definitely leave offerings that’s what ghosts like best. You can really show him you’re cool by giving up something you wanted and putting it at the ghost shrine instead. Make a shrine btw with a vision board of what you think he likes ghosts love when you put thought into that stuff.
