Are AirPods worth it?
I have the wired headphones right now and am thinking amour buying AirPods. But they're SUPER expensive (more than what I even had to pay for my iPhone XR). So I want to get peoples opinions on them. These are the questions I have:
•Is the sound as good or worse? (I’ve heard that they’re good and bad so I’m not sure) sound means a lot to me and I love how the wired ones sound.
•How long do they last until they have to be charged? I use them quite a bit for long periods of time.
•Do you currently have them and do you like them and do you think they’re worth the money? Or do you like the wired ones better.
I really would just buy them and try for myself but like I said they’re expensive and want some opinions first. Thanks in advance :)

BEST purchase I have ever made!!!!!! When talking on phone using them other person can not tell (no echo). I listen to my audible books. Best part is you don’t have to carry your phone around with you. I put laundry in, go downstairs, all while getting perfect reception!! Ok the white looks dorky so get black skins from amazon. I promise you will not regret!

The drivers are the same, so same sound.
There are better true wireless earbuds for considerably less money; look on Amazon and check reviews.

There is no way I'd consider them, unless they came down to throw-away price levels..
I rarely use earbuds & when I do, a decent wired type is fine.
i have some high-end over ear bluetooth headphones, but it's also quite rare I use those.
The ones I mainly used, when needed, are Sony MDR7506 studio grade wired.
[They are also cheap by comparison with many inferior techno-bling brands].
With any wireless system the quality and volume are limited by the amplifiers in the headphones and with bluetooth-linked ones, the overall audio quality is further restricted by the imitations of bluetooth audio system itself, which uses lossy compression.
