  • Need help with finding a job?

Right now I’m a part time cashier. I have been working cashier jobs since I started my first job a few years ago. (I’m 19 right now and continuing to work until college next year). I don’t mind dealing with the public, but I’m getting extremely sick of it. The job I’m working with now is super busy, I’m a cashier and I’m just standing behind a cash register dealing with customers for 8 straight hours, with minimal back up for when it gets busy. I just need a change in job where I won’t be waiting on customers every shift, all shift. Customers I find are rude for no reason, have no respect, and when I don’t know the answer to something they shake they’re heads and walk off. I’m only trained to be a cashier not for anything else. And when I don’t know the answer they don’t like that. I just need change. I’m kind of aiming towards getting a housekeeping job at a hotel or some place like that. (I love cleaning and keeping things organized and making them look good). Where I can do my own thing and not waiting on customers the whole time. This probably makes me sound like a bad person,  but waiting on customers for me right now is just not cutting it. Has anyone ever had a housekeeping job before? What are pros and cons about it? I’ll be moving so will need a new job anyways, just trying to figure out my possibilities that doesn’t involve standing behind a cash register for 8 hours. Anything you think I should look into, let me know I’ll be happy to hear what you guys think.

  • Can worms go away on their  own in cats?

I have a cat who has gotten worms a few times since we got her. When they showed up the other times they were constant until we gave her worm medication from the vet. We planned to keep her on it every month since she is prone to getting them, but ended up moving to the city and haven’t been able to get the vet switched yet. A few days ago I seen worms in her poop once again, but it was only in one piece of poop, and there has been none since. The litter is cleaned every day and there has been no more at all. And that was last Friday. Can they go away on their  own? Or could she still have them and their just not showing up anymore yet. Just wondering. We’re getting her out back on medication monthly one my mom gets back from her trip.

  • Have you ever gotten pregnant while on the birth control pill?

While using no other form of birth control, and not pulling out. When the pill is taken every day and never missed. Just curious how often it happens.

  • Attic in the wall?

Ok so this seems silly but we just recently moved into an older house and upstairs there is a small door and inside is like a small attic but it’s in the wall. It’s not very tall (can’t stand in it) but it’s long and looks like it goes the length of most of the house. I find it interesting. I tried googling it but can’t seem to find what this area is. There’s insulation and it’s literally an attic just not in the top of the house where they usually are. I would love to get it cleaned out and would love to crawl through lol. Does anyone have any of these in they’re house? Just curious, not too sure what it is or what it’s used for.

  • Are Apple AirPods worth it?

I have the wired headphones right now and am thinking about buying AirPods. But they're SUPER expensive (more than what I even had to pay for my iPhone XR). So I want to get peoples opinions on them. These are the questions I have:

•Is the sound as good or worse? (I’ve heard that they’re good and bad so I’m not sure) sound means a lot to me and I love how the wired ones sound.

•How long do they last until they have to be charged? I use them quite a bit for long periods of time.

•Do you currently have them and do you like them and do you think they’re worth the money? Or do you like the wired ones better?

•Your opinion on pros and cons of them.

I really would just buy them and try for myself but like I said they’re expensive and want some opinions first. Thanks in advance :)

  • How long can a hamster live without food?

I left for 3.5 days (closer to 4) and I had a pet hamster and I just checked him to feed him now that I’m home and he has died. He was young (a year old at the most) so it wasn’t old age. I just feel like s*** because he hasn’t been fed in a few days and I feel like that’s what caused it. I have a big heart and little things like this get to me. Hate to think he suffered because of me. Anyways just curious if it would have been starvation (he was fed before I left of course), or something else. Tia :( this sounds silly but I can’t find a steady answer on google

  • How to deal with a drunk boyfriend?

My bf had way too much to drink tonight. He literally can’t walk and he can’t talk proper sense at all, he’s been puking in my garbage can for an hour and a half now, my floor is a disaster from him missing the garbage can and spitting everywhere. He’s totally f***** right now. He keeps dozing off while sitting on my floor then he ends up falling over then he wakes back up and sits on the floor curled in a ball. I’ve literally never been around someone this drunk and I have no idea what to do considering you can’t talk to him at all because his mind is gone. He won’t let me turn off the light and I really don’t wanna go sleep on the couch (he’s in my room right now) because I don’t trust him in there alone. He’s in there right now having a conversation with “me” and I’m not even in there I’m sitting out in my hallway because I don’t wanna be around him. He doesn’t even realize I’m not in there. I’m 19 and he’s 18 and I have literally never seen him drunk until now in the whole 1.5 years we’ve been dating. I just have no idea what to do. It’s 1am and I need to sleep. I can’t sleep in there with him like that and I won’t go on the couch because I won’t want him to hurt himself in there. I really hate alcohol because of past experiences with family, so yes I’m pissed at him for doing this the night I invite him over. I’m just lost with what to do. this seems rediculous I know but please nobody comment any hate, I’ve never been around a really drunk person, I’m new to this

  • Apple earbud question?

So yesterday at McDondals my left headphone landed in a pile of mcchicken sauce :( lol sounds funny but it sucks because now the headphone sounds weird, like it’s lower than the other one and sounds clogged. The headphones are also only 1 month old and really don’t want to take the money to get new ones. This happened yesterday and it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions or am I out of luck?

  • Is it normal to be nervous of your new house being haunted?

My family just moved into a new flat (it has real nice character). My bedroom is upstairs (I have the top level to myself, there’s an extra bedroom across the hall from me) Anyways it’s in the back of my head that the house is around 100 years old and I keep thinking things like “what if it’s haunted” since I’m on the top floor by myself I’m kinda paranoid to sleep there tonight lol (my boyfriend stayed with me last night which was our move in day but tonight I will be alone) nothing has happened yet, but still paranoid. Is this a normal fear when moving into an old house if you believe in the paranormal? Plus I’m a teenager so I already have anxiety and my thinking is making it worse lol. No hate please just making sure my feelings aren’t crazy

  • Cartilage piercing has sharp pains?

I got my cartilage pierced 4 days ago, and the day after it only hurt to touch it (I heal pretty good and quick usually) anyways yesterday it started just throbbing with pain without it being touched, and today it’s doing the same thing but it’s like a sharper throbbing pain. It’s not red and it’s not crusty looking, it actually looks really good, just it hurts pretty bad. Just wondering if this is normal? The last ear piercing i got was years ago so I forget if I went through this with that one or not. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them and if it’s normal. I also clean it multiple times a day with the solution I was given by the piercer so that shouldn’t be the issue. Any advice is appreciated. Tia

  • Why are my legs sometimes red/purple and blotchy looking?

So sometimes my legs look blotchy with like red/purple. It’s finally a day I can wear shorts and my legs just look weird from it. I have seen it before on other people and it’s not the first time this has happened, I’m just wondering that causes this? It looks terrible when your super white like me, because you see every little mark on my legs lol and this really stands out. Just curious

  • Why are ticks so bad this year?

I walked through my own yard for about 2 min and got 2 on me. I walked back by the woods later that day (I have a camp back there, I knew I’d get ticks because it was in the woods and I checked myself as soon as I got there and back lol) ended up with 4 that whole trip. Like you can’t enjoy being outside at all anymore. Is there a reason they have gotten so bad? And how do you stop them from getting on you so much? I had plans this summer to go camping and bonfires and stuff but I’m seriously grossed out by the ticks and might not even bother doing anything outside.

  • Blood blister on toe after dropping something on it?

So this has never happened before. I was cleaning my room and picked up my makeup bag and dropped my eye shadow pallet on my foot. (Apparently it’s heavier than I thought lol). Anyways my toe was in so much pain I just had to sit on the floor and hold my foot, like I’ve dropped things on my toes before and it never hurt that bad. Now there is a blood blister on the sore toe and hours later it still hurts real bad. Is the blister normal and should I pop it? Or just leave it
