Everyone has his or her own opinion and will interpret the facts to fit it.

Here's my thought - if left hadn't been bleating about Trump every single effing day since he won the election, I might be more receptive now.    I'm not saying he should not be impeached - I'm saying legitimate stuff can get lost in the constant histrionics.

I didn't even vote for the guy, but have begun to say, "Really?  Do you guys have anything else to talk about?"

    Impeached for what?

Don't take this as a defense of Trump or his presidency. But there's a yes and no.

While in office, Trump has overtly used his position for personal profit. When he hosts meetings with political leaders, he uses companies under his name and foots the bill to the American government as well as the leaders themselves. And if the political powers don't go to Trump's hotel for the meeting with Trump? He turns them away or cancels last-minute...even going to the point of ridiculing the leader or envoy or nation openly for having the gall to disrespect Trump.

Further, while he stated he would donate his presidential salary to charity...he conveniently owns a charity that has shown repeatedly to be funneling the vast bulk of its donations into his own pocket.

With these alone, it's clear that Trump is seeking his own prosperity, American citizens and the world at large be damned.

    ----

Alongside this, many of his closest circle have been found guilty of criminal activities up-to and including the acceptance of bribes and unlawful activity both during the election campaign and even into his presidency.

When your own personal lawyer defends you by saying that you personally didn't do anything and you just paid other people to do the illegal things for you...Like, if you pay a hitman to kill your spouse you are still gonna get charged with a crime because you were involved in the conspiracy to commit murder and were still involved in the murder if it was successful.

    ----

So, on one hand Trump is unfit to be president and has most assuredly been involved to some degree in unconstitutional ****. But there is always the "incompetence" defense that Trump genuinely didn't know that his son, his lawyer, his best friends, his employees, and his political advisers were all involved in illegal and unconstitutional quid-pro-quo agreements and business/political deals that breached national security for the sake of Trump's continued economic success as a parasitic *******.

Of course. He's committed crimes and corruption and is ruining our country as we know it.

Yes, because he is committing crimes in plain sight and needs to be held to account.

He has to be, he broke the law multiple times, and even if the senate is too corrupt to depose him, it still allows the American people to see what their political representatives are up to so they can get rid of them at the next election.

Yes. He has failed to protect and defend the Constitution as required by the oath of office he took.

Absolutely.  There's plenty of evidence suggesting he committed a number of crimes including quid pro quo, abuse of power, obstruction, and more.
