Religious opinion/poll?
So, after seeing a lot of troll questions or horribly-educated people on here in terms of religion, I wanted to create a bit of a poll. I have multiple questions here...
Do you believe that all religions should be respected equally as long as they're not harming other living things?
If so, what is your religion or are you religious at all?
And do you believe that it's alright for religion to be allowed in school?
Following this, here are my own answers...
I believe that all religions should be respected. I do however find it wrong for people to try forcing their religion onto someone else, and I unfortunately see Christians doing this the most. I'm not going to state my own religion here because it might look like a troll then when it's not, and might cause a lot of unwanted opinions.
I also believe it's wrong to teach religion in school; A child should be allowed to follow their own religion without dealing with the pressure from schools, as school is stressful enough already, and religion shouldn't be forced onto anyone.

NO Religions deserve to be treated with respect. They are harming some people because the religious people believe their way is the right way and they push laws to enforce it.
My religion- NONE!!!! since I was 9 years old

1. Provided they're not doing anything illegal, I believe all those who practice a religion should be treated with respect. That's common courtesy. And I believe the same for those with no religion.
2. I'm a practicing Greek Orthodox Christian.
3. Religion should be allowed only in parochial schools. Trying to teach every existing religion in public schools would be a logistical nightmare.

1. Do you believe that all religions should be respected equally as long as they're not harming other living things?
I believe that we should honor and respect what people believe. However, not all religions are equal. Not all religions are backed up by equal evidence. There is at least one religion that is strongly backed up by historical evidence, which has been written about by C. S. Lewis, Josh McDowell and Lee Strobel.
2. If so, what is your religion or are you religious at all?
I am a Christian.
3. One problem? Who decides which religion is taught in schools. People need to make up their own minds as to what they believe.

Christians do not want people to be lost for eternity. Personally, I think that someone who believes in Hell, whether you do or not, and does not warn people about it, is a jerk. If I wanted people to go to Hell, the best plan would be to say nothing. I do not know whether you believe in Hell, but Christians must be guided by what we think is true.

Yes.
Catholic.
Yes, in private schools. For it to be in public schools they would have to give equal time to every religion in the school district. That would take too much time away from other more useful classes.

Religion is core to many. Jesus was totally against force of ANY kind.
Because of the importance of Salvation, if someone wonders,
I will enquire on careful levels so as not to use ANY techniques of force.
I also use my discernment because some show interest and I don't encourage them. Something is wrong, I trust my feelings that way.
School is worldly brainwashing anyway. Religion would just be distorted.
I think it best not to mention religion or my own although it's easy to see.
Religion is blamed but EVERYONE, every system forces.
Just they have control, and they're expert at blaming and misdirection.
Like magicians.
If anyone is born into religion, usually they're brainwashed.

1) Respect is something to be earned by not insisting that something ridiculous is reality, without adequate evidence to persuade someone. So no. However, I have grown up in a Christian setting, so I understand and tolerate Christians.
2) I am not religious.
3) It depends. Academically, religions are an interesting subject. If you mean teaching kids how to pray and be better Christians/Muslims/Jews/Buddhist/ or other, no. I absolutely don't think that belongs in school.

1. Do you believe that all religions should be respected equally as long as they're not harming other living things? Not respected equally. Some religions are more ridiculous than others. I have saying, "the ridiculous deserve ridicule." However, I am compliant with freedom of religion.
2. Are you religious at all? I would call myself a secularist. I gather information from all my religious readings and make use of it. But no, I am no religious conformist.
3. Religion should be taught in school? I think students should be taught about all religions.
I hope that helps.

YES, THE CONSTITUTION CALLS FOR THAT. ALL RELIGIONS/CULTS ARE EQUALLY NONSENSICAL AND IDIOTIC, AND ALL DESERVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF RIDICULE, TOO. PEOPLE LIKE FURBALL AND NCWJ ARE JUST AS WHACKO AS PEOPLE LIKE TOM CRUIZE AND JOHN TRAVOLTA.
If so, what is your religion or are you religious at all?
I AM EDUCATED, SO: NON-RELIGIOUS ATHEIST.
And do you believe that it's alright for religion to be allowed in school?
NO. CULT BELIEF MUST STAY OUT OF SCHOOLS. STUDYING SUBJECTS LIKE RELIGIOUS HISTORY, HOWEVER, IS JUST FINE. CHILDREN IN RELIGIOUS HOUSEHOLDS GET MORE THAN ENOUGH BRAINWASHING AND ABUSE AT HOME & CHURCH ALREADY...
