  • Religious opinion/poll?

So, after seeing a lot of troll questions or horribly-educated people on here in terms of religion, I wanted to create a bit of a poll. I have multiple questions here...

Do you believe that all religions should be respected equally as long as they're not harming other living things?

If so, what is your religion or are you religious at all?

And do you believe that it's alright for religion to be allowed in school?

Following this, here are my own answers...

I believe that all religions should be respected. I do however find it wrong for people to try forcing their religion onto someone else, and I unfortunately see Christians doing this the most. I'm not going to state my own religion here because it might look like a troll then when it's not, and might cause a lot of unwanted opinions.

I also believe it's wrong to teach religion in school; A child should be allowed to follow their own religion without dealing with the pressure from schools, as school is stressful enough already, and religion shouldn't be forced onto anyone.

  • Medical/health help (bloody stool)?

So, I've already talked to an online doctor I trust who has helped me a lot in the past, but I wanted to get a bit more of an opinion on this.

Back on June 10th I had an appendectomy. Since then, my bowel movements have varied from normal and mostly to diarrhea, but never any constipation except for a few select times. I still have the occasional, dull/very faint ache in my right side from the surgery but barely.

On November 1st, I went out to eat with my niece, and both of us had stomach problems that night (severe cramping). That same night, when I went home, I started to develop a cough. The next morning it had turned into a full-blown severe cold, with coughing, severely stopped up sinuses, and slight fever. Today, I'm feeling a lot better; My ribs and back are sore from coughing but that's it. However, when I went to the bathroom, my stool was bright red and so was the toilet water, but not a lot of blood on the toilet paper when I wiped. There was only a little when I wiped the first time, but none after when I wiped again.

I haven't been eating a lot but I've been drinking A LOT of drinks with red coloring, like fruit punch and kool-aid, as well as drinking energy drinks, on an empty stomach. I have no abdominal pain, no fatigue, no fever, no other symptoms at all aside from red stool.

I feel completely normal aside from the anxiety I have from this though.

What could this possibly have been caused by? Does it sound serious, and at what point should I go to the doctor?

  • What would be a reasonable amount of money for this vacation?

Alright! So, i'm turning 21 on June 23rd, so my mother, my niece and another friend and I are planning on going on vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. We plan on staying from June 21st to June 25th. I already have the hotel prices worked out, as well as car rental/gas (My own car is not in good enough shape to take that far so we're having to rent) but I'm having issues with the OTHER expenses, and figuring out how much money I should have on hand. Here are the factors I need to add up for:

~Going out to eat once or twice a day (Also plan on going out to drink at a bar or something on the 23rd since i'll finally be 21)

~Not sure what attractions are there, I haven't been there in over 7 years, so money for attractions.

~Money to buy some souvenirs or other random things. I enjoy looking at pawn shops there because they always have lots of them, and lots of good items.

~Money to buy things like sunscreen, water toys, towels, etc.

Note that I DON'T want my friends/family's expenses added in. They'll be paying for themselves in terms of attractions, souvenirs and other things, but we will most likely be splitting some of the restaurant bills.

So, based on this, what would be a good amount of money to have on hand AT LEAST?

  • How to fix my slow gaming laptop?

I have a pretty expensive gaming laptop that I got for highschool graduation in 2015. It's held up and been very reliable since I got it, but after a while it became slow when doing anything other than gaming. Opening any kind of apps, windows, or even file explorer takes way longer than it should. I factory reset/wiped the computer a few months back to see if it would help, and while it improved performance a little bit, it didn't help much. Apps also often crash. Any browser I use, even Chrome, freezes for a bit when I first open it. And if left alone for long enough it becomes unresponsive and crashes, and won't open again unless I force crash it in task manager. However, once I get into a game, I don't have any problems while gaming. FPS are usually 70-90+ depending on the game, and I don't have any crashing problems with it.

Computer model: Lenovo Y700 ideapad touch Gaming Laptop

    Processor: Intel Core i7

    x64 bit, Windows 10

    8GB Ram

    1TB Storage

    GPU: GeForce GTX 960M

And it came with Nvidia GeForce installed.

What I've tried: I asked for help directly from where I bought it, but they weren't much help at all. After resetting, I also had someone from Windows Support take remote control of my computer to fix and edit some things. This helped for about a day, but it went right back to being slow again. I don't have the money to buy a new one, and I won't for a while. Is there some way to improve this laptops performance?

  • What are the best MMO games on Steam based on my own preferences?

For a long time I've only really ever played single-player games, or games like Borderlands where I can have just a few of my friends play with me. There have been very few MMO's that I've actually played up until recently. I'm not big on a lot of games like Elder Scrolls: Online or anything like that, but I did like Skyrim. The online version just doesn't seem to interest me that much, and I don't really want to waste money on it. I have a high-end gaming laptop that can run games like Ark on highest graphics will still over 70 FPS, so I'm not too worried about how beefy of a computer I need to play games; when answering don't leave out a game just because you think it might need good specs. Any suggestions are welcome. However, be sure to suggest mainly Steam games, unless there are some good free MMO's on the browser or other sites. I prefer games with a lot of character customization options.

The games that I play that are MMO/Multiplayer that I seriously enjoy are these:

-Transformice (Not normally my type of game but at this point I've spent nearly $300 on it)

    -The Isle (Survival-based dinosaur game)

-Wizard 101 (Again, not my kind of game, but a friend got me into it a few weeks ago so I play it some with her, and it's decent)

-School of Dragons (How to train your dragon online game)

-Cereal Soup (Multiplayer game where you customize an animal character and run around, a lot like Feral Heart. Nothing like Animal Jam though.)

-Garry's Mod (Rarely play multiplayer though

  • How to better improve my art style/motivation?

I've been drawing since I was about 9, and never really took any art classes because I prefer to draw things my own way, and draw what I want instead of having to draw what the teacher wants. I'm proud of my improvement since then, but I'd really like to get better at poses, anatomy, and just my style in general. What kind of things to you guys do to work on these kind of things? I've tried several methods, like sketching multiple poses on one page and choosing the better out of them to turn into an actual drawing. This somewhat helps but it's not giving me the satisfaction that i'm looking for when it comes to creativity or improvement. I don't draw as much as I used to precisely for this reason; I'm never happy with how drawings come out, and usually I get frustrated in the sketching phase, and never actually finish the drawing. To counter this I've been forcing myself to finish drawings anyways, and that's brought me out of my art block quite a bit. However, I feel like I would be happier with it if I could find new ways of experimenting with my art.

And on another note, if any of you have actually read this far, what digital drawing programs (paid or free, either is fine) would you suggest for someone using a Surface Pro 5? I currently have Medibang Paint Pro on mine, and I tried Sai but it's a bit laggy on my Surface, and I haven't tried Photoshop yet but I intend to. Are there any other programs that might be similar in tools and such to any of those?

  • Do you ever look back at old posts or questions even on here, and wonder what the actual F was wrong with you back then?

I haven't used Yahoo Answers in years until today. I decided to have a look at my old questions and answers, and G O D was I cringy. I think I was going through my edgy phase when I made most of the posts. I remember back then, for some horrible unknown reason, I thought that having a mental disease was "cool" and at the time I had none that were obvious. Now, I've been officially diagnosed with multiple and wish I could just be normal. Not only that, but I bragged about dumb things. Have any of you ever done the same, even on regular social media? On a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you dislike/hate your younger self? 10 being the worst, obviously.

  • Are there any free dedicated server hosting sites or programs?

I play a game on Steam called The Isle and I really want to host my own dedicated server. I currently have no source of income however and am medically unable to work, so I can t rent or pay to have a dedicated server. Is there some way I can host one without having to pay for it? Or are there any known programs that can be used to host one?

  • Computer problems, lagging horribly all of a sudden. Please help?

Okay! So earlier, I was playing Ark: Survival Evolved on my gaming laptop. It is a Lenovo ideapad y700, Intel core i7, Nvidia GeForce GTX. It runs games amazingly, but occasionally freezes with big games like Ark. Normally I wait it out and it just I freezes on its own. However, this time it didn't. So, I pressed ctrl+alt+delete to try and exit the game and/or open task manager. But it didn't do anything. I also tried shift+tab to try and change Windows. Still nothing. So I did what I had to do and I forced the laptop to shut down by holding the power button. I left it off until I returned to my dads house (I was at a friends house) and then turned it back on, just to notice that the computer is lagging terribly. I'll open a program such as powersaves (for my 3ds) and it takes forever to do anything. Even in Google chrome, I'll have 2 tabs open and try to click on a new tab, and it freezes up. Before I played ark earlier it was fine. Someone please help

  • Caring for a box turtle?

Okay, so, I rescued a box turtle (fairly large; almost as big as my hand, if not a bit bigger) from our property in Virginia. I'm not completely sure, but from what I've researched it looks like a male.

I plan on taking it back with me to North Carolina (where I live) and caring for it. Since we come to Virginia every weekend, I could take it back to where I found it if I really needed to.

But I don't want any answers saying "just take it back" or any crap like that. It's not currently in the best shape, and wasn't when I found it. It's eaten a bit, and seems to be doing slightly better. But my question; what is the best way to care for it? Best self-made habitat/enclosure (indoor), best store bought food (I can get crickets easily), best way to make them more tame/friendly, etc. again, don't give me that "take it back to where you found it" or anything like that, or I'll flag your answer. Because this is a serious matter in my oppinion, plus, it's not in conditions to let it live on it's own FOR NOW. so please. Give me an actual good answer.

  • Can you feed an orphaned (newborn) goat puppy milk replacement?

Okay so two of our goats recently had babies, and what we've been doing is taking them away from their mothers after a few days so that they will be use to being around humans as they grow up. So far the method is working, but what I'm wondering is if you can use puppies milk replacement formula on them. We can't find the goat formula at Walmart or any other store. So can someone please help out on what sort of milk we could use?
