I heard in the impeachment inquiries that hear say testimony can be better than first hand testimony. Any legal scholars explain this?

Well, it might be if the person giving first hand testimony is lying, but that's about it.  Otherwise, it's the old phone game.  The story changes so much from the original that it's unrecognizable.

You do not need a legal scholar....it is a farce....a one only party partisan pillory.....They make up their own fake rules because they have a 5% majority in the House. No other human in Congress votes with what the democratic party is doing to Trump and the US government.
