Politics: Are you a proud gun owner?

Owning a gun isn't something to be proud of. It's just something you do in case you ever need to defend yourself. 

I own two guns.  Both are more likely to harm the person who fires them than someone else.  I have no reason to be proud or ashamed of owning them.

I'm a gun owner. I'm a Proud Conservative who follows the law and I support Equal Rights and Equal Justice for ALL Responsible American Citizens. I also have a Concealed Carry Permit Which required thorough training and a thorough background check prior to its being issued to me.

It is Not a matter of Pride to own guns. It is an expense and a Responsibility some of us are willing to accept.

I own guns. I just see them as tools so I'm not really proud just like I'm not proud of owning a hammer or power drill. Just fancy bullet throwers

I do enjoy shooting as a hobby, hunting and having the option to use a firearm for self defense.

I'm not an American. I wish the constitution of my country granted me the right to own one.

I take comfort in the fact that as a gun owner, you are something like 15 times more likely to die by gunshot (as are any children you might have) than those who don't own a gun. By suicide, by accidental discharge, by criminals as you attempt to threaten them, by police who mistake you for a criminal or threat, or by your own gun being used against you by a domestic partner or the criminal themselves. It's evolution's way of weeding out people not smart enough to understand relative risk and statistics from the gene pool

I'm a proud women owner.

I do not own any guns, but my uncle sam loaned me a few over the years, had to give them back though.
