How do I delete an answer, please? Yahoo's answer to this question is incorrect.?

When you've written and posted your answer you can click on EDIT afterwards

to either EDIT it ..  DELETE it  .. or make yourself ANONYMOUS

The EDIT option should be under your answer .. on the far right.

BUT .. If a question has aleady been given BEST ANSWER you can't delete

your answer ... you can only make your answer ANONYMOUS.

use Edit button to delete it if question does not have BA awarded to it

If a Best Answer has been chosen you lose the option to remove your answer. You can only delete your answer before a Best Answer has been chosen.

Our answers are never wrong.

If its your own Answer you can Delete it by Clicking on the Delete Answer Button under the Blue Edit menu Providing no Best Answer is Picked

Once a Best Answer is Picked you can not Delete It

If its someone Else's Answer you can not Remove it you can only Report It

Providing a Answer thats Incorrect while not Encouraged Is not a Violation of any Yahoo Answers Community Guidelines so it is Likely not gonna be Removed

You can delete your own answer. Just click on the edit tab and delete it.  If you are using a phone make sure it is on desktop mode.  You will lose the 2 points you earn for answering but that should not matter to you. 

Unless it's yours you cant.   If there is a valid reason other than you think it's wrong report it.   Yahoo does answer questions here only other members do.
