How do I stop Netflix from making my Xbox games lag?
I've spoken to my broadband provider and they said there are no issues with the internet coming into the house. I get just over 40 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. Both the Xbox and the sky box streaming Netflix are plugged into the router via ethernet. Any help would be much appreciated.

Get more than 40 mbps if you can.
I used to tell people that 10 mbps/user would be good enough. But now that 4K streaming is a thing, you need to consider that in the math so 40 mbps isn't good for two people anymore. If you can get more, you may have to get more.
