Was the King James Bible taught in school after December 15, 1791, and if so for how long?

Yes

because

at that time

state government authority (compared to Federal) in each state was much stronger than it is today

- so, for example, the Federal separation of church and state was not perceived as "trickling down" to the state level at that time

- indeed (for example): twelve of the original thirteen states had "official religions" and were not required to change that as a result of that Amendment

and because the Federal government did not fund state public education at that time (unlike the modern situation where all states receive Federal funding for public schooling).

I suspect

that disallowing the Bible to be taught as religion in public schools

began in the 1960s (yes, THAT late)

Was the KING JAMES BIBLE  taught in  "SCHOOL "    a bit vague  WHAT KIND OF SCHOOLS  and WHERE ...    ALL PAROCIAL SCHOOLS   could teach what ever they want and still can  because PAROCIAL  schools by definition  are PRIVATE  Schools  SUPPORTED  by a particular church  or Parish .... the ISSUE arises  with PUBLIC  EDUCATION ,,,,,

, taxes are collected  from ALL PEOPLE  of various religions denomination and non religious  under the  GOAL to provide  EDUCATION  MATH READING WRITING various  subject to ALL the population ... without BIAS or RELIGION 

  its when  certain RELIGIOUS  groups  decided  they want to  remove the lack  of  BIAS and lack of THEIR RELIGION  and  INTRUDE   on  Bob's   children who are  jewish or Hindu or  buddhist  or Muslim or non religious  or even CHRISTIAN  but a different denomination and FORCE their teachings on CONTAINED  children  and little voice to OBJECT 

  the BILL of RIGHTS 1st amendment  of NOT FAVORING any religion   so  either  ALL RELIGIOUS SCRIPTS would have to be taught or NONE  in "PUBLIC SCHOOLS " and for the most part  many CHRISTIAN would OBJECT  to their  children be taught  HINDU script or the Koran  or  Buddhism ...  YET  some  CHRISTIAN denomination  still IGNORE their  desires and legal actions  to insert their BIBLE on to others  children  to be a INFRINGEMENT    now there is nothing wrong with a COMPARATIVE RELIGION CLASS ... so Children can  SEE   what other people promote these classes are not about PRACTICING a religion but have a understanding ABOUT religion
