Yes.
Even though they produce half the emissions per person, compared to the US, China is the largest polluter. These uneven contributions to the climate crisis are at the core of the challenges the world community faces in finding effective and equitable solutions to global warming. A per capita comparison would go a long way to get a fair comparison. It would be ridiculous to suggest that Vatican city, with a population of around 1,000 people, should be allowed to pollute as much as China with nearly 1.4 billion residents.
The good news is that wind and solar are now cheaper than electricity from conventional sources. Australians have installed and are continuing to install, so much rooftop solar that they are now getting midday prices for less than the traditional low night time price. Battery technology is also getting more economical. If I were allowed to sell to the grid in the late afternoon and early evening at a reasonable rate, I could earn earn a few bucks.
The bad news is that Australia is burning with the record temperatures.

Obviously it wasn't a problem to BO (Barack Hussein Obama) who encouraged it yet tried to inflict extreme reductions on the US. What a piece crap president. You morons that inflicted that jackass on us are a far bigger problem than CO2.
