Does anyone take inhaled steroids for asthma?
The doctors are telling me I should take an inhaled steroid for my asthma. For whatever reason I am reluctant to take them. I know I will probably have to at some point but was wondering if anyone has taken them and were they effective did they give you side effects? Any psychological or physical side effects?
And which one are you taking if you don't mind sharing?

My daughter takes them the side effects are that if you stop taking them your asthma comes back worse.

Yes I have been taking Fostair for a year. 2 puffs in morning and evening. I too was wary but it is marvellous, helps a lot. No side affects of any kind. We just have to remember to rinse out our mouth afterwards.
