In a time of peace and prosperity can any Democrat beat Trump ?
The economy is very strong, the stock market is doing well, unemployment is down and we aren't fighting any wars. Black and Hispanics are finally enjoying low unemployment rate. What incentive is there or anyone to vote for a Democrat ? If it's not broken do not fix it..

Sure. In a time of peace and prosperity, Trump beat a Democrat. And in another time of peace and prosperity, Bush beat Gore. And unemployment had gone down more in the Obama administration than it did in the Trump administration. The stock market also did better. It also did better in the Clinton administration.
It kind of is broken. It's worse than it's been with any Democrat since Carter. But at least it's still better than with Bush. Either Bush.

Trump has voter restrictions, gerrymandering, and the electoral college. He does not follow laws or rules. The GOP backs him when he breaks laws. It may be impossible to beat him.

According to the polls, most of the democratic candidates would beat Trump. Many people in America have morals and don't vote based solely on the economy (which smart people know is only mildly affected by the president).
