No heat on the driver's side?
'00 Buick Park Avenue. When running the heater, the 2 passenger side vents are nice and hot. The windshield vent is hot. The passenger side footwell is hot. The driver's side footwell and the 2 vents on the front of the dash are only blowing ambient (cold this time of year). What could cause this and how to fix it?

Your car might have 2 blend door actuators. The driver's side actuator could be bad.

A split HVAC system.
The driver's side has a defective control motor or vacuum pod in the system. Either get the GM Service Manual for the car from Helm, Inc. if it's still available, or check Alldata.com.
Check whether your city library or nearby junior college library has an online subscription to Alldata.com. You look up your exact car and get the system diagram of operation and find the part that opens and closes the heat door.

Do a search on youtube for replacing the drivers side blend door actuator. I've replaced those actuators for that problem in my last three Pontiac's. 1998 to 2001 model years. Buick's and Chevy's have a similar issue with them.

mice in the system.
Blocked vent or binding door in vent.
The vacuum selector may be holed, rotten, pinched.
If electric, check the fuse panel,
mice may have eaten the wiring insulation.
