Would a war with Iran last more than a week?
I don’t think so. Most their weapons it seems like they got out of a Cracker Jack box. They don’t have nukes and it will be over a year before the idiots will have anything they can use. I think a war with them would be over in a week. ☢️💣

Depends if we do it smart or not. If we just kick their àśś and leave, it could be done in weeks. If we get involved in a stupid regime change occupation, it could last decades.

"Five days or five weeks or five months, but it [war in Iraq] certainly isn't going to last any longer than that," former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said in 2002.
How's that working out for ya, Republicans? It's only 17 years later......
@nunya, have you enlisted to go fight over there?

We could bring Iran into the 21st Century without a boot on the ground nor pilot in their airspace. This started with drone bomber and we can fight the whole thing AND END it the same way.

The US still can't successfully occupy Iraq after 17 years of trying.
Iran is twice the size, twice the population, far more sophisticated military, modern Russian air defence systems, Cruise Missiles, reasonable Navy and 800,000 fanatical soldiers.
What could go wrong?

It would be over in a week if we nuked them into a sea of glass, but that's not how we operate. It would be conventional and they'd hold out for quite some time.
