You're not going to pass that driver's test, just so you know.

The answer to your question isn't just in the NJ driver's handbook, it's in the first few pages of the very first chapter.

In order to pass the road test, you'll need to know the whole book.  Every single thing they look for on the test is printed in that book, and all of them are the deciding factor between a pass or fail.  If it's not in the book, it's not part of the exam.  The DMV examiner doesn't care how well you can brake or steer, they care about how you know and understand the rules of the road.

And you haven't even opened the book.  The ripe old age of 18 isn't going to help you if you haven't even read the book.

"Teens that have held a probationary license for one year without any suspensions or postponements and are at least 18 may apply for a full driver license. You must visit your local Motor Vehicle Commission office and bring your probationary license and the required identification documents."

You'll have to check with your DMV - but based on a quick google search for New Jersey, I believe you would.

That varies within jurisdictions. We have 50 states in the U.S., and all vary.

Had you read your "Driver's Training Manual" you would KNOW the answer.  THAT IS YOUR CAR BIBLE about driving + rules & regulations.

Age has no BEARING.  You are a newbie. Don't matter if ye be 16 or 66.  THE RULES ARE THE SAME.

. You may get the impression I am not going to tell you about something "you should know".  That would be correct.  It is time you reread the training manual again; cause you forgot stuff.

In any case it can't hurt you as it will help in passing the road test.
