Colleague booked same holidays?

I’ve been wanting to study abroad but for that I needed a time to visit the university and get to know my whereabouts so I decided to go on 25th of May till 3rd of June for a long time.

Problem is when my manager asked me to book my holidays whenever I wanted I saw on the Work Calendar that she had booked the same days I needed.

What do I do now? I feel uncomfortable about the whole situation because I don’t want my request to be rejected because of her and I don’t want her to bully me at work.

    Just ask.

If she says you can't have those dates - then you can review your options accordingly.

As with many administrative matters within a company, "first come, first served".

Talk to HR about her and report her.  You don't need to put up with that.

For future reference, clear the actual date(s) with your manager before booking any flights.

    Pick a different date.
