Why did Trump lie about no Americans being harmed when Iran struck US military bases in Iraq when the Pentagon said 11 were injured?

Believe it or not concussions are not considered military injuries . There are about three million concussions every year in the US

His impetuous assassination of a leader of a foreign country could have led to a full scale war with that country -- a consequence that he apparently did not consider when he made the decision. Since no Americans were killed in the Iranian missile counterattack, it gave him an out to avoid escalating hostilities. 

Trump stated no Americans were KILLED !!!

Col. Myles B. Caggins III, a spokesman for the American-led coalition in Baghdad, said on Friday that the service members’ symptoms began to surface only after the president’s announcement. He said that there had been no other injuries. So, where is the “lie”? Is the fact that words have definitions an inconvenience to a libtard shithead or what?

The President stated that 'casualties and damage were minimized by advanced warning of the attacks.' 

That is as much a 'lie' as your one-party only 'impeachment' was an actual impeachment. It was just a childish abuse of power that history will mock.

Trump has backed down China and Russia, confronted North Korea, destroyed the Islamic terrorist caliphate Iran needed for leverage during any future war with the United States, then vaporized its chief architect and planner, effectively averting World War III. Hillary would have led us right into it. 

Even if the President did say, 'no one was harmed' during a ballistic missile attack, I would say being alive qualifies, since troops still routinely die on training operations or in accidents and no American troops died during a BALLISTIC MISSILE ATTACK. 

It's not like anyone actually believed him.

For the same reason he's lied about thousands of other things, probably.

Trump didn't want to admit Iran crossed the red line he sat, so he had to minimize the attack as much as possible.
